It's been a long time...

Wow! I can't believe it has been over nine months since I've posted something. It feels like just yesterday that my son was born and my life was turned completely upside-down. What was once wine and food turned into diapers and distractions.

Despite these changes, life has been good. I haven't been drinking quite as much wine, but when I do, I REALLY enjoy it. Golf also still has a big place in my life. I wish I could say that all of the hours of practice, dedication, and love for the game were paying off. As anyone else who plays golf will probably tell you, the game can be rewarding at times, and brutally abusing at times. In any case, it is always nice to spend time out of the house, enjoying fresh air, and occasionally making a birdie or two. :)

After asking if I've been keeping up with the blog, a lot of folks ask me if I am still getting samples of wine in the mail. While not as much as I once did, I do still get shipments from time to time. Although I can't promise that I will post updates as often as I used to, I'll make sure to start sharing my thoughts on wine and life more often than I did over the last nine months.

There's so much I could say about the last nine months, I don't think I could even begin to sum it up in just one post. What I will say is this, I wouldn't change a second of it.

Did I miss anything while I was busy being a Dad?

He's Back!

Can't wait to hear what your sipping on. I'd suggest switching to stemless in the near future or you'll lose a lot of glasses. Just speaking from experience.

Also can't wait to hear baby stories. I know you'll work them in.

Welcome back! My son just turned a year old on October 16th, so I know exactly what you are talking about!

Glad to be back! :) Thank you for all of the support and for forgiving me for disappearing for some time. You know me too well... my son is too funny to leave out any of his stories.

Congratulations Courtney! I can't wait until Liam's first birthday... I know my wife will plan something crazy for him to celebrate. Any suggestions from someone who just went through it?
