I sometimes have a glass or two of wine to relax after a long, hard day. If so, I will generally go for a comfort wine, a familiar and favored wine, which I know will please.
Often beer, scotch, or whiskey is my relaxing after a long day of work beverage. Wine with a meal is relaxing but not intended solely for that purpose. Either way, I am happy! :)
Which wine is your favorite comfort wine? I could really use a wine that is always guaranteed to please!
Cool! I've got a little book of things to try, and this one is now in there! :) Now that I crossed off the Clio, I needed to replace it with something else you recommended.

I like to match up wine/beer with a meal. You will rarely see me drink it solo.
How could I forget about pairing wine with food... otherwise the vino just seems lonely! :)
What about after a hard day, do you ever have a glass of wine just to relax or is it mostly just an accompaniment to a meal?
Cheers!

My favorite comfort wine is Sean Thackrey Pleaides, an intriguing red blend from California.
