This Week's TWWTV: Pimpin' Ain't Easy!

Posted by The Wine Whore |

This week, I'm going to try something different...

Everyone's always asking me about how I did "it"... well, I've decided that since I can't ship fans cases of FREE wine due to annoying shipping laws, the least I could do is help YOU learn how to get it yourself.

I see a lot of people out there doing the same thing but doing it completely WRONG. This Thursday, I will discuss the RIGHT way to enjoy wine! This includes not only how to get free samples but more importantly how to be honest about what you taste and what you tell others.

Click the TWWTV logo above to join me this Thursday @ 7:30pm ET.

Don't be shy and most importantly, don't come empty handed. Bring a drink, an open mind, and be ready to discuss what it means to be a Wine Whore!

Sweet. I'm going to try to join you. Should be good. And I have some red house wine from Ceja Vineyards that I need to drink!

I plan to be there with a 2006 Bell Wine Cellars Chardonnay!

Cool! See you there!

Lemme also just say that I don't claim to be an expert on ANYTHING for that matter... this is just a chance for me to share how I did what I did and what I've learned doing it!

...oh yeah, and enjoy some wine at the same time! :)

Is there anything in particular you'd like to discuss?

P.S. Beth, do you mind if I have a sip? :)

Any other impromptu meetings I should put on the calendar? lol.

I've only had one shipment come labeled as wine and requiring a signature (over 21). I wonder if the rest are just avoiding this step to make it easier???

So see, you can ship us all wine. Just saying...;)

See you Thursday.

Whatchu talkin' about Willis? :)

I was going to try and do an impromptu one tonight but won't be home in time.

Yep, I think you are correct! Honestly, those are my favorite ones because as long as it's not 200 degree outside, I don't have to worry about being home to get them.

I wish I could... seriously! But maybe I can help in other ways! :)

Looking forward to seeing you then!

You know - I am also going to have to call BS on that whole color of your room gar-bahj. I think that there are certain things that may enhance your enjoyment of wine. Never has it ever occurred to me to consider the color of the room. Conversely I suppose that if the room was painted neon orange it may decrease my enjoyment of the wine. Or, perhaps it just decreases my enjoyment of being in that room. Any wine tasting room that is neon orange should consider having benches and tables outside for their customers.

I will be online Thursday - I have a couple of bottles selected. So, it will be one or the other. Who am I kidding. It will be both, of course.

C'est Beth - I met Anthony Bell about a month ago and had a chance to taste most of his wines. The Chardonnay is delicious and I am jealous. Nice choice.

I'm looking forward to seeing you all on Thursday... should be an interesting show!

Honestly, I have a hard time believing that red or blue light will make me enjoy the wine more, in fact, I probably would enjoy it LESS! :)

So, what are you all bringing to Thursday's show?

C'est Beth said...

@The Wine Whore, yes you may have a sip!

@tampawinewoman I met Anthony in August when I took Bell's new wine tasting tour at the winery. I bought the Clone 6 Cab that day, but I'm saving that. I ordered the Chard for $20 per bottle, 6 bottles, free shipping promo! Some to drink, some to give!

The Wine Whore said...

Thank you! It tastes delicious! :)

What special occasion are you saving that Cab for?

C'est Beth said...

Hmmm...if I ever get married again, I might break out the wines that set me back $90 per or higher! Don't have too many, but I have a few! :)

Now THAT's a worthy occasion!

Which bottle is the star of your cellar?
