Oooh. What cool labels. I'll be interested to hear about them. Nice video too:)
Cheers!
Totally! I love the Vegas theme... let's see if the wine is worth "letting it ride!" :)
Thank you for the compliments on the video... I am trying to get better at filming and editing with my Flip! I think it's starting to come along! :P
Cheers!
Cool - love the use of video, plus Elvis is always a big hit! That Rose wine should be an interresting one.
Josh @nectarwine
Thanks Josh! :)
The Rose seems interesting but I'm also stoked about the Carmenere... I tend to really like Chilean Carmere!
Cheers!
I always have some concerns when a wine feels a need for a gimmicky label. I'll be interested to see how you feel about the wines.
As you should! I was hesitant to accept these samples just under that exact premise. Then again, this is a great chance to show honesty despite marketing, freebies, or any other BS.
Am I going to like all of these wines? Doubtful!
Will there be ones that I like more than others? Of course!
Now the trick is being as honest as possible so that people know EXACTLY what to expect... besides a gimmicky label, that is! :)
Cheers!
... oh, one more thing! Did I mention that these are Chilean wines! I find it interesting to find such gimmicky marketing for wine in an otherwise less flashy region such as Chile.
Have you seen this with any other Chilean wines?
I believe some of the wines also come from Argentina. As the parent company though is Australian, then the fact the labels are gimmicky is not much of a surprise to me.
Yep! You are 100% correct! :)
Now the question is, how do you think I should review these? What do you think would be the most important things to note?
I don't think you need to review them in any special way. Just review them as you would any wine at that price point. Just be honest as usual.
Ok cool! That's a promise I KNOW I can keep! :)
