Technical Difficulties Lead to a Revelation

Posted by The Wine Whore |

Today's lesson: Mistakes can lead to greatness with enough patience and perseverance.

In life, love, and wine, there are always ups and downs. This week, I am sorry to say that I experienced a low point. Unfortunately, while trying to broadcast and record this week's episode of TWWTV, there were some technical difficulties which ended up cutting the show short. While I am disappointed that those who took the time to tune in weren't able to watch the end of the show, I am thankful for all to all of the people who join me every day on my journey if nothing else than to just say hello. I am also very thankful to those wineries who have been sending me wine to enjoy.

For me, this is a dream come true.

As in life, every experience offers the opportunity to learn something new. I am reminded as to why I began this site in the first place: the desire to explore the world of wine. While I can't promise that I won't make mistakes, I do promise to learn from my experiences and share what I learn with you.

Here's a quick summary from the show:

We tasted the following three wines from Naked Wines:

  • Naked Winery Columbia Valley Cabernet Sauvignon 2004
  • Naked Winery Columbia Valley Merlot 2005
  • Naked Winery Columbia Valley Sangiovese 2006

The favorite of the three turned out to be the Cabernet Sauvignon with the Merlot in second place. Overall, all three wines were good. Not amazing, but fun and enjoyable. The quality and taste were fitting for wines with such fun and provocative names.

I'd like to thank Tampa's very own Winemall for being so gracious and awesome to me! I'd also like to thank Naked Winery for sharing their sexy wines with me.

Cheers!
