Smooth Sippin'

Posted by The Wine Whore |

Wine Whore Review:

As the Wine Whore, I really enjoy drinking wine, but I also get a kick out of cool wine gadgets. My favorite accessories are those that are impressive looking and also serve a purpose. That's why I was excited when my friend Cheryl introduced me to a wine gadget that I had never seen before...

What if there was an earth friendly way to sip wine without staining your teeth? Cheryl showed me how I could drink wine through a glass straw specifically designed for a slow sip. This straw targets the wine while also helping to avoid teeth staining.

I have to admit, at first I was very skeptical. I was too afraid of messing with my wine tasting experience. After a month of procrastination, I finally gave it a try.

The verdict: This wine gadget will change the way people drink their favorite beverages, INCLUDING wine. Not only do these straws look cool, but they are also a fun way to drink your favorite beverage.

While I don't know if I will be completely converting my wine sipping ceremony to include these glass straws, I will definitely be sipping all kinds of other beverages from them. I can see it now... everyone will be so jealous when they see me whip out one of these bad boys at the next party. There is even a small carrying case so I don't have to worry about breaking it in my pocket. This is especially helpful when any sort of alcohol is involved.

Want to be a hit at the next party?

These glass straws are sustainable, reusable, and even include a Lifetime Guarantee Against Breakage. Get one of your own by visiting GlassDharma today!

Cheers!

I chew on my straws so breakage is a definite worry for me, so thanks for the reassurance. They certainly look cool, but if I were to break out glass straws at a party, perhaps some people might get the wrong idea about what they are used for. ;']

LOL! You would definitely not want to chew on these... you could accidentally crack a tooth or worse yet, get a mouth full of glass.

You have a good point... maybe I should be discreet about breaking these out at parties! :)

Cheers!

I agree, these straws look neat but I don't think I could ever switch to sucking up my vino through a straw! To stear clear of the red wine stain on teeth and lips though, I love Wine Wipes! Check 'em out a WineWipes.com

Rachel,

Care to put your wine wipes to the test against these wine straws? Send me a sample and I'll test 'em out!

Cheers!

As much as I'd love to save my tooth enamel, I feel like a straw would just be a little too much of a change in my wine ritual. But it's an interesting idea... and definitely a fun conversation starter at a party! Thanks for sharing!

Hello Victoria,

I know what you mean... this one took a while for me to even consider trying. While I don't think I will be sipping my vino from these, they do come in handle for other beverages and they are a fun conversation starter if nothing else.

Cheers!

Hmmm. Wine through a straw? I'm not thinking it would be nearly as enjoyable, I'll suffer with the purple teeth. However, that experiment that I never got around to of tasting wine on different parts of your tongue? The straws might come in very handy for that.

Hello Shelly!

That's a great idea! These straws would definitely come in handy for your wine experiment... would you like me to send you one so you can give it a shot?

Cheers!

The straws are neat. Think maybe I'll get some and add them to my other never used wine gadgets just as a conversation piece.

If nothing else, they do make a great conversation piece! :)

Cheers!
