Friendship is a Glass Half Full

WWW Winner:

What do friendship and fine wine have in common?

While the old adage that wine improves with age may not be entirely accurate, this week's WWW submission proves that time cultivates fondness through friendship.

This week's Winning Weekly Wine Whore (WWW) Photo incorporates a wine tasting at Avio Vineyards in California's Amador County. After meeting in each other's homes for 30 years sampling wine and having fun, the five couples visited the vineyard's wine tasting room to share yet another tasting together. While their friendship is unwavering, other tastes change with time. The group of predominate red wine lovers were surprised to favor the crisp apple flavors of Avio's Pinot Grigio.

This week's runner up:

Is the glass half empty or half full?

This week's second place incorporates a selection recently reviewed as a Wise Wine. Be sure to find out what makes this bottle such a great value of a red wine:

Don't forget to send in your pictures to be included in next week's post!

Thank you Steve, Jennifer, and everyone else who participated by sharing your stories, amazing photographs, and love for great wine!
